I am having trouble with my Internet connection. What do I do?

  1. Make sure that all connections are secure, and the power cord is plugged in.
  2. Reset the equipment by pulling the power cord from the Power Over Ethernet Unit, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging the power back in. (view the customer premise connection diagram here)
  3. Verify that your router is setup correctly.
  4. Check for possible spyware, or viruses on the machine trying to access the internet.

I just purchased a router. How do I set it up?

  1. Follow the connection diagram that came with the new router.
  2. Plug the "internet" or "wan" port on the new router to the "p+data out" on the POE unit. (view the customer premise connection diagram here)
  3. The new router will be automatically configured by Webwave to connect to the Internet. Happy Surfing!
